Colorful ceramic sculpture resembling a stylized DNA double helix on a weathered wooden table outdoors, with rocks nearby, a wooden rocking chair, a sliding glass door, and house siding in the background.

past Wheel work

Form, function, and flow are at the center of everything I make in clay. I work across a range of scale—from large carved stoneware vessels to functional porcelain pieces dyed with mason stains and thrown into layered, multicolor patterns. Whether I’m carving deep into a heavy form or chasing fluid movement on the wheel, I’m always looking for that balance between control and spontaneity. The pieces shown here are from past firings and placements. A new body of work is currently in progress and will be documented and added soon.
